Completed in 1936 with funds from the PWA, the Arts and Sciences Auditorium was originally called Liberal Arts building. The Wyoming Union building on campus was another project partially financed by the PWA. Laramie, Wyoming.
Yaquina Bay Bridge
The Yaquina Bay bridge is one of eleven bridges on the Oregon coast designed by Conde McCullough. The Newport Oregon bridge, completed in 1936, was funded by the Public Works Administration.
Community Building – Ely, Minnesota
Completed in 1938, The Ely Community Building also served as a recreation center and library.
Wyoming Supreme Court Building
Completed in 1937, the Wyoming Supreme Court building in Cheyenne was partially funded by the PWA. The building also held the state law library.
Treasure Island Terminal and Administration Building
Originally built as the terminal for Pan Am China Clipper seaplanes, the building also served as a welcome center for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition. The island itself, the terminal, and two hangars were WPA, PWA and San Francisco City projects. During World War II until 1997, the island was a US Navy base.
